Jesus said it best – kids are a blessing, precious, eternal and … active! These events are for parents and children ages 4yrs to 11yrs. At Word of Truth there are a variety of exciting events for children. It’s all about our children, having fun, being creative, interacting and learning about the love of God. On Sunday, afternoon immediately after praise and worship service, J.C. Kids will have the opportunity to have church on their level. Bible stories, puppet skits, worship music, video clips, games and more are what your children will experience at Children’s Church!
We believe children are gifts from God, and are considered precious in His sight. Our goal is to be a reflection of who Jesus is, so that they will see His loving kindness through our lives as we teach and instruct them in His ways. We remain devoted to using the richness of God’s Word for discipleship, the effective training of children in Godly character, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to know Jesus and experience his endless love! Our desire is that out of a heart of thanksgiving, the children would express their love for our Savior through a lifetime of devotion to their Lord, and ministry to others, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

To accomplish our purpose we seek…

• To fill children’s minds with the Word of God so they will grow to think the way God thinks and live the way God has commanded.
• To establish in children habits of godly living and a daily lifestyle.
• To create a Christian Community of children and adults who enjoy life together as a family and who are committed to Jesus Christ and to each other.
• To help children build proper relationships to the authorities in their lives.
• To help children trust Christ as Savior, to submit to Him and to live as Christian’s at home, at school, at play or wherever they are.
• To build Christian homes by encouraging families and training them in their tasks.
• To make each child’s experience at church safe, fun and profitable in the process of growing to become everything God has planned.
